Protecting Indonesian mangroves with Planète Urgence

In partnership with Planète Urgence, we have been actively contributing since 2024 to the restoration of mangrove ecosystems in the Mahakam Delta, Indonesia. This region — threatened by deforestation linked to extensive aquaculture and growing urbanisation — is a key ecosystem for biodiversity and the fight against climate change.

Supporting agricultural transition in Dordogne with ReSoil

After Indonesia, we also act on our own territory. Aurovelis.com supports the transition to regenerative agriculture in France by financing certified carbon credits under the Label bas-carbone, developed by ReSoil.

The Ferme des Eyssards project – Dordogne (24): in partnership with ReSoil, we contribute to the agricultural transition of the family farm of Hervé Robert, located in Saint-Paul-la-Roche in Dordogne. Father and son cultivate 168 hectares of cereals (wheat, barley, maize, rapeseed) and raise cattle on this farm, rooted for 20 years in the Périgord landscape.

The project aims to sustainably improve the farm's carbon footprint through three concrete levers: crop diversification, development of cover crops and increased use of organic fertilisers from livestock. Over 5 years, this represents a 34% reduction in the farm's carbon footprint, i.e. 335 tCO₂eq avoided each year.

But Hervé does not stop there: he adapts his farming work, sometimes working at night to avoid disturbing the pollinators of the beehives hosted on his rapeseed plots.

This project is certified by the Label bas-carbone, the official framework developed by the French State, which guarantees the independence of the audit, the scientific rigour of the credit calculation and the uniqueness of each tonne of CO₂ sequestered or avoided.

Acting for cleaner gold

Concrete initiatives implemented to reduce our impact. Since 2011, AuCOFFRE has taken a decisive turn towards environmental responsibility.

We said STOP to gold extraction that does not respect the environment, by signing the Clean Extraction Charter. This strong gesture marked the beginning of our commitment to a more responsible precious metal.

2015: Transition to LBMA-certified gold

We took a new step by choosing exclusively LBMA-certified gold (London Bullion Market Association) for all coins struck by our High Minting House, VeraValor.

✔️ This choice allowed us to drastically reduce our environmental impact, dividing it by 200.

OZE – Zero Footprint Gold: a revolution

With our OZE (Zero Footprint Gold) programme, we go even further, for gold that is ever more accessible and responsible.

✔️ We recover old jewellery containing gold and give it a second life, without any transformation.
